Located at an altitude of 7000 m above sea level this magnificent hill station is one of the famous attractions of Himachal Pradesh. It is a two hour journey from Chamba to Kangra. The road that leads to Kangra is beautiful. Once you reach Kangra you start exploring this place. The most famous place here is Kangra Valley. Kullu

Kullu will be your next stop. It will take 4 hours to reach Kullu from Kangra. Shoja, located at an altitude of 3000 m above sea level is the place in Kullu where you can get to witness snow covered mountains.

The perfect mixture of snow capped mountains with rivers, streams, forests and meadows makes it even more beautiful. Kullu Valley can be your next stop in Kullu.

It is the capital of Kullu district and is highly dominated by nature. In between the valley the Beas River runs through making it more gorgeous. There are road side food stalls in Kullu where you can have your lunch. There are some Tibetan restaurants as well which you can even try.

Palampur

It is a 3 hour journey from Kullu to Palampur. The main attraction in Palampur is Dharamsala. This place is an ideal stop for nature lovers. The combination of Deodar and Pine trees gives a special retreat to nature lovers. You can see the best of this place during winters when the pine trees are covered with snow. After exploring this place you can bid a final farewell to Himachal Pradesh with a promise that you will meet again.

Chanderkhani Pass

There are many trekking options from this pass and you can choose any one depending on your time.

Bhuntar

It is a 1 hour journey from Chanderkhani Pass to Bhuntar. Skiing is an exciting adventure sport that is available in Bhuntar. You can try different types of Skiing once you visit this place. Apart from skiing trekking is also famous here. You can spend the night in some hotels in Bhuntar and then travel to other places in the morning.

Shitidhar Peaks

Once you start early in the morning from Bhuntar it will take approximately 2 hours to reach this peak. Once you reach Shitidhar peaks you will observe the amazing snow capped mountain peaks. It will be difficult for mountain lovers to resist the urge of climbing one such peak. Mountain climbing is the main adventure sport in this area. Keeping in mind that climbers do not have any prior experience special trainings are given before climbing. You can thoroughly enjoy the awesome mountain climbing in this place.

Narkanda

This will be your final stop before leaving Himachal. Narkanda can be reached within couple of hours from Shitidhar Peaks. The two most famous adventure sports in Narkanda are Skiing and water sports. Since you have already tried skiing in your previous destinations you must try water sports here. River Sutlej flowing below Narkanda is the center for water sports mainly river rafting.

Mandi

Hadimba Temple

After spending the night at Mandi, you will travel to Manali to visit this famous Temple. It will take hardly 2 hours to reach Hadimba Temple from Mandi. This is one of the oldest temples of Himachal Pradesh. Born to the Devil’s family Hidimba was the only sister of Hidimb.



It is believed that Hidimba used to stay inside this cave and since then this cave has been transformed into a temple. Designed beautifully this temple has become one of the major tourist attractions in the recent year.
